New location expands EP’s refrigeration engineering presence and positions firm for continued growth.

Edina, Minn.—Thursday, November 5—Emanuelson-Podas (EP) recently announced the opening of a new office in Port Charlotte, Florida. The location marks the firm’s third full-time office, joining its headquarters in Edina, Minnesota, and its office in Brookings, South Dakota.

The new office will initially serve as a hub for EP’s growing refrigeration engineering practice, supporting clients and projects throughout Florida and across the country. The expansion also strengthens EP’s ability to serve clients in the southern and southwestern United States while creating opportunities to provide additional engineering services in those markets.

Kevin Galbraith, PE, Senior Refrigeration Engineer and leader of EP’s refrigeration engineering team, will be based in Port Charlotte and help guide the office’s day-to-day development. Over the coming months, EP plans to steadily grow the location, adding additional refrigeration engineering staff while expanding its capacity to provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering, energy modeling, commissioning, and technology systems design services.

The Port Charlotte office will operate as a fully connected part of EP’s broader engineering team, allowing staff across all three locations to collaborate, and share expertise and resources.
