Eric Rose is a partner and director of strategic development at EP. He joined the firm in 2021, bringing with him AEC and CRE industry experience that spans more than 15 years. He spent a significant part of his early career in construction management and preconstruction. This background provides him with a unique toolset to drive successful engineering design projects and gives him a comprehensive understanding of the interconnectedness of project schedule, budget, and quality.
Eric leads EP’s Building Performance Group, bringing together the firm’s extensive experience in energy modeling, building commissioning (Cx), and building controls. He also drives complex client projects in the med-tech and logistics sectors and has led the firm’s significant entry into the EV (electric vehicle) charging station segment. Additionally, Eric anchors the firm’s business development team and helps drive new sales initiatives.
Outside the office, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and family. With three school-age sons that are extremely active in sports, Eric and his wife spend most of their time running from event to event. Eric enjoys coaching his kids and spending time at the cabin (and dropping the occasional line in the water). He’ll golf or throw a football when he can, and take jumpers when the mood strikes. Eric and his family are all active in their church, where Eric – a onetime member of the Church Elder Board – currently serves as a volunteer youth leader.
Eric is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in civil engineering.
